Embarking on a mission inspired by personal resilience and hope, I extend an invitation to join me in shaping a better future of blood cancers. While watching my dad bravely fight against lymphoma and leukemia over the past four years, I have developed a passion for this cause. His journey has been impacted by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society greatly, through their funding for research of CAR-T therapy, which my dad received in February of 2021, and many more groundbreaking treatments that were made possible through the research funded by LLS.
As a participant in the LLS Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, I am committed to raising funds for this organization that helped my father’s battle. Over 1.3 million people living with or in remission from blood cancer have benefitted from the research LLS has been able to perform with your help.
As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:
• Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
• Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
• Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
Through your generous donations, you become a vital part of the journey to transforming the experiences of countless individuals, like my father, battling blood cancer. Your generosity is a tribute to the hope and progress that LLS has bought into our lives.
